Great quality, fast shipping. Can’t bring myself to open it just yet. More of a collectors piece for myself

I bought a #1978 that I found it (surprisingly) in a Flea Market, where I used to live in Berlin ???? circa 2013. Now I’m so happy to have this wonderful version yellow marbled limited edition of it...

The record & download card arrived on time and in excellent condition. I have a older first-generation CD of the Cats album and have streamed the remaster on Spotify--but the gold vinyl was like hearing it again for the first time. Any buyer's remorse melted away within the first minute. The sound is warm, background vocals are clear, and John Kahn's bass sounds phenomenal! My only complaint is that the download card does not include the bonus tracks from the CD.

Glad you had the yellow vinyl. I bought an open album mat and frame from Amazon and will proudly display along with my JG prints. Thanks!

I am a huge long-time fan and these records sound fantastic. I have never owned the original studio recordings (and certainly not on vinyl!). I was fortunate enough to grow up next to a taper/head/chef in the San Francisco bay area that started taking me to shows when I was 17. I adore the Dead, but JGB and its various incarnations was always my favorite. The intimate shows at the Warfield will never be topped. I've also been enjoying the Garcia Live Volumes that have been coming out. It's like the gift that keeps on giving. Bless you guys for continuing to share the legacy of this profound artist. I feel so lucky to have experienced the live concerts, but these recordings are timeless and priceless artworks for old friends and brand new fans alike. Thank you!

Beautiful bright yellow "gold" colored press...The remastering is superior to the original in many ways! Sounds fuller and is louder I believe. Like many others have explained, there were issues on the top and bottom seams with a 7 inch portion of the bottom completely unglued, but all at GFP have gone above and beyond to mention this before the LP arrived. They're printing up more I guess, and I've currently got a tracking number for the replacement jacket! So that's great care and customer service once they knew so many jackets didn't come out new and properly pieced together.

Gold vinyl is nice edition to my collection. They did a good job of re-mastering. Sound is phenomenal on a good system.

Bought this beaut for my 17 yr-old burgeoning Dead Head step-daughter who had listened to some older (early 90s) JGB and liked it. Suffice it to say that now my only hope is that she'll let me listen to it from time to time! Beautiful record from a golden era of Garcia.

This record has a nice high fidelity sound, great artwork, and a classic song list. Jerry once said that this is his proudest studio work and I agree, it is very good. The yellow, marbled album is timeless and I will keep if forever.
