Garcia celebrates its golden year in 2022! Expanding on Jerry's first solo release, this 50th Anniversary Edition is a deluxe 2-LP set featuring the original album remastered from the analog mix master reels plus outtakes & explorations from the original sessions pressed to vinyl for the first time. Recorded almost entirely by Garcia with assistance from Bill Kreutzmann and Robert Hunter, six of the songs became staples in the Grateful Dead's repertoire. Garcia (50th Anniversary Edition) is available on 180g gold nugget vinyl pressed in a limited run of 10,000 and includes a liner note essay from David Fricke.

Great High Quality replacement for my original that played Houdini from one of my early apartments in the 1980's. If you do not own a vinyl copy of Garcia get this seminal re-release. Bonus studio disk gives great insight to genius.

Great job, Garcia Family and Round Records. These are high quality inner sleeves with heavy cardboard outers and polyethylene inners. More importantly, the vinyl is decently quiet and the mastering is great. And the bonus tracks! Way to let the Deal go down. Thanks for doing this right.

The 50th anniversary edition of Garcia is a must have for all. The care taken in the production of this makes other variations of this record pale in comparison. The second record of outtakes brings into the light the great mind of Garcia as he finds the way to communicate the feelings he has in song. A very welcomed addition to my ever expanding collection of vinyl records.

One of my favorite all time lps. i own several pressings of this album. Definitely the best all Gold color, Vinyl has been back for some time. Using currently a Gemini 1000 to play the old albums. Deal always a highlight as is this entire album. Interesting second lp included. I have heard the material before on compact disc but occasionally i really enjoy putting the turntable on. A must have if you are a collector.
